Digital Designer (in a mixed-signal environment)
Responsible for the specification, architectural design, coding, synthesis, and verification of digital circuits in a state of the art RF device.
Responsibilities
Establish digital design methodology for company
Block-level definition, circuit design, and verification of digital
Planning and execution of design tasks
Work with entire team on design for test and manufacture
Characterization of product in lab
Qualifications
MSEE desired
>7 yrs years of digital design experience
Possess a record of on time delivery of high volume products
Considered a team player as well as a technical leader by peers
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Highly motivated to win on a small dedicated team
Specific experience
Worked with design flow from spec through P&R and backend verification
Developed verification methodology of external IP blocks
Proven experience at debugging manufacturing issues on high volume products
Experience as digital designer on mixed signal teams
Executed DSP, PLL, controller, and memory designs
Digital filter design
Understands transistor level design
Noise mitigation techniques
